TATTOO FAQ

How do I book an appointment?

The preferred method of contact for our artists is through email. Each artist has a contact button in their online gallery that you can click to get started. There are also links you can click beneath each artists' name on the artist page. If you have an artist's email already, you can email them directly.

What information should I include in my email?

You should include a brief description of the tattoo you are looking to get as well as the size, location, and whether or not it is in black and grey. Please include any references you have as well as a clear picture of the area you are looking to get tattooed. Finally, include a good contact number we can reach you at in case we are having trouble contacting you through email.

Do you accept walk ins?

Yes we do, but it depends on if we have artists available. Our availability varies from day to day, so it is best to call ahead to see if there are any openings that day. You can reach us at (571) 378-1325 and follow us on Instagram to stay up to date @mr_finsters_tattoo.

Do you tattoo minors?

We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 even with parental consent.

How long is the wait?

Due to high demand, you may find yourself on the waitlist for any particular artist. Each artist opens their books periodically, so it is best to either call, ask in person, or email to find out when their books will be open next.

Do you take same day appointments?

Same day appointments are much like walk ins. Each artist receives many emails every day and if their books are not open, you may not get a reply right away. If you are looking to get seen the same day, the best thing to do is to call (571) 378-1352

Do I need to leave a deposit?

Yes. Every appointment MUST have a deposit in order to be properly booked. Deposits will come out of the total the day of your tattoo. If you need to reschedule, please contact your artist at least 48 hours ahead of your appointment to discuss a new date.

How much will my tattoo cost?

The price of the work varies from piece to piece. Each artist has their own hourly rate and method for determining the price of a piece.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept cash, card, Venmo, or CashApp.

Where are you located?

Our address is 412 W Broad St Falls Church, VA 22044

What can I expect during the healing process?

Each artist has their own specific instructions that you should follow for the best healing results of your tattoo. They will provide these instructions verbally at the end of each session. Usually tattoos take two to three weeks to heal and you should avoid submerging them in water, or exposing them to sunlight while they are healing. It is imperative that you keep it clean the entire time and avoid contaminants.

PIERCING FAQ

How do I book an appointment for a piercing?

Please call the studio during business hours to set up an appointment or you can email mr.finsterspiercing@gmail.com. Please allow 24-48 hrs for a response on emails. We are open Tuesday-Saturday, 12-8 PM. We are closed Sundays and Mondays .

How do I take care of my piercing?

Body Piercings:

● Spray NeilMed Piercing Aftercare Spray directly onto your piercing 1-2 times a day

● Once the piercing has been thoroughly sprayed, you may gently wipe away any “crusties” from the piercing site with a clean paper towel

● Avoid gauze, Q-tips, and cotton balls. The fibers from these products can get stuck on the jewelry and can cause irritation

● Do NOT rotate the jewelry

● The best time to clean your piercing is after a shower. Before exiting the shower, allow a direct stream of water to run onto your piercing, for 1-2 minutes, to flush any soap or debris out of your piercing

● Continue this method of cleaning daily, until it is no longer discharging or has any “crusties” (minimum of two months)

● Be sure to never touch, rotate, or sleep on your piercing

● Some bleeding, swelling, and irritation is normal

● Do NOT use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, Bactine, or Neosporin

● Lastly, DO NOT TOUCH YOUR PIERCING. Touching causes damage!

Oral Piercings:

● Rinse your mouth with fresh water after eating or drinking anything

● Twice a day, rinse your mouth with an alcohol-free mouthwash

● Do NOT play with your piercing

● Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol during the healing period

What kind of jewelry do you use?

At Mister Finsters our client’s safety and well-being is our main concern. We are a fully
disposable single use studio. For Jewelry we only stock and have accounts with companies that
can provide a Mill Certification, meet the Association of Professional Piercers standards, and
provide a lifetime guarantee against any manufacture’s defects. Leroi, Anatometal, NeoMetal,
Buddha Jewelry Organics, Peoples Jewelry, and Tawapa are some of the main companies we
work closely with. These companies pay great attention to detail and take great pride in their
products. All of these companies handset all of their gemstones and hand polish the jewelry for
a smooth wearable surface to make healing your piercing easier and safer. We primarily focus
on selling ASTMF-136 Implant Grade Titanium and genuine 18kt and 14kt gold. We also carry
genuine gemstones such as Sapphires, Rubys and Genuine VS1 Diamonds. We are constantly
impressed with the ingenuity and new beautiful designs these companies are putting out.
Working closely with these companies and providing some of the best jewelry in the industry
has made piercing such a joy for us at Mister Finsters.

Mister Finsters offers a wide range of professional ear piercing services, body piercings, and
facial piercings. We do not use Piercing Guns. Professionals will always use single use
needles.

A lot of the ear piercings we offer will have a flatback Labret post which is either threadless or
internally threaded. Having a flat back is much more comfortable in the ears for everyday wear
and will prevent the jewelry from poking you or digging into your skin.

Not sure what ear piercing to get? No worries! Our piercers would be more than happy to curate
something special for your ears. We offer a wide variety of ear piercings such as tragus piercing,
cartilage piercing, helix piercing, conch piercing, daith piercing, flat piercing, forward helix
piercing, rook piercing and so much more. Ear piercings are a great fun way to accessorize
some new jewelry or add that special shine that you have always wanted.
