So Long 2025!
This past year was such a blast, we are looking forward to working it again. We may do other conventions as well, and we will announce those as we confirm them. Early 2026 the shop will finally be launching a TikTok. If you’ve been enjoying our videos, be sure to stay tuned for that! We of course will be doing another Halloween celebration, but we might add some other events throughout the year as well. Rusty is officially becoming a full time artist at Mr Finster’s starting in January! He is really looking forward to settling into life in Virginia and of course can’t wait to start on some fantastic art projects.

Finster's gets Rewild!
Kara and Rusty have joined forces with the burgeoning UK brand Rewild at Heart Uk. Rewild has been working with a lot of non profits in the UK to help support rewilding operations within their country.
What is rewilding? Rewilding is the process of letting mother nature repair damage that has been done by essentially leaving things the way they were. Land can become damaged over time from use and if you let trees, plants, and wildlife take over, it will be restored to its previous level of usability. This process has been around for a very long time and is changing the way in how we recover damaged land.

Where does Mister Finster’s fit into all this? Rewild at Heart is primarily a clothing brand, though they sell many products, and they needed artwork for their merch! We love the idea behind rewilding and Kara and Rusty decided to step up and offer some of their designs to a worthy cause. Now any time someone buys a product with something we helped design, a little bit gets sent to help restore nature and a little bit helps support a couple local artists. This month we have a pre-drawn design from Isa available. Pre-drawn designs are offered at a reduced rate and we’d love to find someone who wants to wear them! ​
Fin is out recovering his hand and will be back in January. He is prioritizing traditional style work, so if that is something you are interested in, definitely get in touch!
Chelsea is opening her books Feb 1st and is looking to do larger pieces.

James has availability in January and has several neotraditional and traditional concepts he would like to work on.
Kara has availability coming up in January for bigger projects.
Isa has limited spots left for December!
Rusty is currently booking February and March and is giving priority to larger work.

This month the shop got some fantastic seam rings in stock as well as some lovely navel jewelry. We also want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out for our Black Friday event at the shop. We will definitely do more events like that in the future. Christmas is right around the corner and we are here for you and all your piercing needs!
